| Eligibility
I am a student, am I eligible? If you are a student currently enrolled at an accredited public or private, primary or secondary school, Higher or Further Educational establishment providing full or part-time courses you should be eligible. We would need and copy of you student status though. A NUS (or equivalent student card) or your enrollment form is sufficient enough to process orders I am a teacher, am I eligible? Qualified individuals who acquire educational products for their own personal use but not for further distribution or transfer and who have presented appropriate identification of current status as full or part time faculty and staff employed by an accredited educational institution. I work at an educational Institution - can I buy from the store? Yes you more then likely can. When can I expect delivery of my order? Orders are normally shipped within 48 hours of your order being placed as long as you provide us with the relevant identification and the item is in stock. The standard time frames do not include holidays or weekend days in the service transit times. What are your policies with regard to returns? Through www.student-software.co.uk we endeavour to provide you with the right information to allow you to make an informed and accurate decision on the software you require. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have read the system requirements thoroughly prior to placing an order. We operate a returns policy for unopened software within 28 days of purchase which carries a full refund, less the shipment charge. Once software has been opened or installed, unless there is a fault with the software we operate a no returns policy, in exceptional circumstances please contact our Sales team for advice. What is the limitation to the student software? Please see the individual manufactures section for each products limitation. How many computers can I use an Adobe Student Edition on? A Student Edition can be used on only one computer. This is ensured through a product activation procedure, which is performed online. When I get to the shopping basket the price changes from the original page. Why is this? The shopping basket contains prices including VAT. Where as the prices advertised elsewhere on the site are EX VAT. I notice that some software on the website is electronic licences. Why is there a cost for shipping? Although there is no physical shipment when ordering electronic licences, you will be charged delivery automatically, however this has been reflected in a reduction in the product price. How do I send my proof of student status? Once you have completed your order online you will receive an automatic order confirmation e-mail. Please reply to this e-mail with an electronic copy of your ID. If I am from Northern Ireland, do I still need to select international shipping? No please select UK only delivery 2-5 Days. What courier service is used to deliver my goods and do I need to sign for it? Royal Mail delivers the packages and you do need to sign for it. If you are not in then the parcel will be taken to your local post office for collection. It's been more than 2-5 working days and I have still not received my software! This is usually because we are out of stock. You will be updated by e-mail on the following Friday as to when you will receive your software. What do I do once my 1yr/13 month licence has expired? You will need to purchase another licence. Please purchase from www.student-software.co.uk Manufacturers Guide Autodesk Limitations: See individual products for licence information. How to obtain Authorisation code: The best and quickest way is to authorise this is online though the installation instructions. If you are not connected to the internet when you try to install the product then you will need to register your product direct with Autodesk. Please forward the following information to authcodes.neu@autodesk.com 1). Contact Name 2). Establishment Name 3). Establishment Address 4). Email Address 5). Telephone Number 6). Serial Number on the back of the DVD case 7). Request Code: This is an alpha/numeric code, which appears on screen once you select 'Install Standalone' during the installation process. This will take 72 hours from receipt of email. Documentation: There is a product documentation section on the DVD which allows you to see the systems requirements, Graphic Card driver update, installation guide (.pdf) Adobe Inside the box you will find instructions in order to receive your serial number and complete the installation of your Adobe Student Edition software. A serial number is required for you to continue to use this product beyond the 30-day trial period. To obtain your full-license serial number, you will need: - Access to the internet - Your current e-mail address - The coupon code printed in the upper left corner of the card found inside the box -A digital copy of your proof of eligibility (see "Proof of eligibility" for required documents and acceptable formats) To obtain your serial number, follow the instructions at www.adobe.com/go/studentedition_uk. Only eligible individuals who are able to provide proof of eligibility will receive a serial number for their Adobe Student Edition product. If you have questions regarding this process or you do not have access to the Internet, contact Adobe Customer Service on UK 0207 3650733. Restrictions on use You may purchase only one license of any Adobe Student Edition product. This license may be used only on your privately owned computer. Student Edition products may not be used for commercial gain or resold. Eligible individuals Only full- or part-time students enrolled at a higher education institution, defined as an accredited public or private university or college that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time study, or students enrolled at an accredited public or private secondary school providing full-time instruction are eligible. Proof of eligibility You must provide a photocopy of a valid, current student ID that includes your name, date, and a photo. If you do not have such an ID, you must instead provide a photocopy of a valid photo ID and one of the following items: - Official, current nonphoto student ID with name and date - Official, current school transcript indicating name of school and student - Official, current school tuition bill indicating name of school and student - Official, current report card indicating name of school and student - Other official dated proof of enrollment Students who are under 18 and do not have a valid photo ID may provide an official letter from their eligible educational institution stating their name and current enrollment status. You may use a digital camera or scanner to capture the image of your proof of eligibility. Please ensure all documents are clear, legible, and true to size. Acceptable formats include JPEG, GIF, and PDF. If you cannot produce digital copies of your proof of eligibility, you may fax photocopies of these documents. If you are not a student and purchase the Student Edition of the software, you will not be able to pass the validation process and will be unable to return the product or receive a refund once the outer packaging of the product is opened. Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made to this policy.
