New Features

Release 14 with Service Pack 3 includes all of the new features and capabilities found in:

MATLAB 7.1 - MATLAB integrates computation, data analysis, visualization, and algorithm development in one complete environment. It is easy to learn and use, and offers an intuitive language or expressing and solving problems. New features include time series analysis tools, enhanced Macintosh platform support, and several new programming features.

Simulink 6.3 - Simulink is an interactive environment for system simulation and embedded system design. With its intuitive block diagram interface, you can model, simulate, and analyze multidomain systems for control, signal processing, communications, and other dynamic systems. In the Student Version, models can comprise up to 1,000 blocks. New features include Embedded MATLAB function block support for fixed-point data types, GUI improvements, increased model reference functionality, and simulation enhancements.

New Student Version Activation Technology The latest version includes a new activation technology that provides:

An easy and secure way to authenticate and use Student Version software. The process verifies licensed student users and validates each unique serial number to ensure compliance with our license agreement.
